Maple, Ebony, Bloodwood, Birdseye Maple Veneer

This was a fun project as it was relatively small in size and had straightforward mortise and tenon joinery throughout. This handcrafted nightstand is a study in balance—where clean lines meet bold accents and fine materials elevate everyday function into something special.

Custom Tapered Legs: The legs feature a graceful, custom curved taper that offers a modern silhouette while providing a light, floating stance.

Ebony & Bloodwood Skirt Banding: A striking inlay band of ebony and bloodwood accentuates the skirt, creating a rich visual contrast that adds warmth and definition.

Abalone Inlays: Abalone inlays on the side panels offer a touch of organic beauty, catching the light and drawing the eye without overwhelming the form.

Birdseye Maple Drawer Fronts: The drawer fronts are crafted from hand-selected birdseye maple.
