Blanket Chest

Materials

Cherry, Wenge, Cedar, Brazilian Rosewood

This cherry blanket chest was a project I wanted to pursue for years. Designed with careful attention to detail, this piece blends traditional joinery with distinctive modern curves for a look that’s both timeless and unique.

Hand-Cut Through Dovetails: The case is joined with exposed, hand-cut through dovetails—a hallmark of quality and durability.

Splayed Cherry Feet with Wenge Inlay: Gracefully splayed feet add visual movement and stability, accented with a Wenge inlay.

Curved Drawer Fronts & Skirt: The lower drawers feature a gentle convex curve that continues through the matching skirt, lending a flowing, sculptural silhouette that sets this chest apart.
