Sapele, Curly Cherry

This Queen sized bed was inspired by some design elements from a bed design by Pedulla Studio. The primary wood is Sapele and the headboard features a beautiful piece of curly cherry, along with some carved Sapele rails which bracket the bottom and top of the cherry board. Very large tenons in the side rails connect to the mortises in the front and rear legs, which carry the load of the bed frame and this box spring + mattress bed. The modular design of this bed allows for easy disassembly and transport to a bedroom.
